General Questions

What are your fees structures?

For Children Class:

We collect the fees once every month.
($120/month, 45 minutes lesson, 4 lessons per month)

There is a deposit of $120 and a $75 registration fee.

Example of the payment for each child will be:
$75 (One time Reg Fee) + $120(One Time Dep) +$120 (Monthly Fee) 

For lesson that start in the middle of the month, lesson fee will be prorated. 
Deposit will be refundable after 6 months if u want to quit, with 1 month notification.


For Adult Class:

We are doing promotion for private class, *valid until end of December 2021*

$280/month for 1 to 1

$350/month for 2 to 1

$420/month for 3 to 1

$480/month for 4 to 1

$550/month for 5 to 1

$600/month for 6 to 1

*Please note that it is group price basis meaning $350 for 2 so 1 person will be $175 and you will need to gather students to form the group*

What are your terms and conditions?

Terms and conditions for Group class:

1) The paid deposit is refundable after a minimum commitment of ongoing 6 months class with Swimmerse. Upon quitting, a 1 month notification is required. Thereafter, the deposit will be refunded back to you. You are also able to use the deposit to cover your last month fee.

2) We do not offer replacement class for the following reasons:

– travelling

– public holidays

– bad weather

– personal reasons

– exams

3) For replacement of class due to medical reasons, a medical certificate is required. Replacement class will be subjected to availability.

4) In event of bad weather, dry lessons will be conducted. Do still report to class in swimming attire as lessons will commence as soon as weather allows.

5) We collect our fee every early of the months.

(Payment has to be settled within 2 weeks after notification of payment is sent).

6) There is no Pause Policy for month or longer. If no show for two lessons without valid reason, the current slot will be forfeited.

7) Payment has to be settled within 2 weeks after notification of payment is sent. Should there be no payment after within 2 weeks, deposit will be used to offset the lesson fee and slots will be forfeited.

In case of bad weather, we will still continue with dry lesson.

Dry lessons will include land drills and theory lessons which will help in building muscles and knowledge on water safety.

In the event of pool closure, please still wait for the coach as the class will be conducted based on the wet weather programme.

 

Terms and conditions for Private Class:

1) Promotional price is only valid till December 2021 unless stated otherwise.

2) A deposit of 2 weeks of lesson fee is collectible. Deposit is refundable upon quitting after 6 months commitment with 1 month notification period.

3) In the event of bad weather, please let us know at least 2 hours in advance for cancellation. Class will chargeable if last minute cancelled.

4) In the event of travel or MC for private class, please let us know 1 week or 1 day in advance to arrange for postponement of class.

Do you have any promotions?
What should I bring for the lesson?

For New Students:

  • On the first day of trial, students are to bring along swimwear and goggles (if you have). If you do not have a goggle, you may purchase one from our swim coach.

For Existing Students:

  • All Swimmerse students are all expected to be in their Swimmerse uniform with red Swimmerse swim cap every lesson.
  • Students should also bring their own kickboard, goggles.
  • Parents are also advised to bring some a bottle of warm water to warm the children up in the case of a cold day.
How long will it take for my child to learn to swim?

No learner is the same, everyone has different learning ability.

Generally, students of 6 years and above take a minimum of 6 months to learn how to swim.
This is why we implemented a minimum of 6 months commitment per child.

Younger learners or students with water phobia will take a longer time.

What happens if it rains?

If you are able to enter the complex, wet weather program /  dry lessons will be conducted in sheltered areas of the complex. Please look for your respective coaches.

In the event of bad weather, please call the respective pool to check the status of the pool opening.

If it’s closed and you are unable to enter the complex, you have to wait for the pool re-open. Coaches will be waiting inside.

 

Do you teach any other location other than the flagship venues?

Yes, we might be able to!

Is there any trial classes available?

Yes, trial classes are available. You can contact us at 8588 7867 or through the contact form at the website to arrange for a full 45 mins lesson trial class.

If you do not find the class to your liking, the trial class is considered free of charge and you can just walk away!

If you do enjoy the class and would like to enroll for the class, we will consider the trial class as first lesson 🙂

Flagship Venues FAQs

Where are your flagship locations?
Are your coaches certified?

Yes, yes and yes!

Swimmerse is very strict in our selection of coaches! All our coaches that teaches in the public pool are professionally certified, with some even holding level three coaching certification!

All of our coaches hold at least three years of on-going coaching experiences, so rest assured! Your little ones and you will be in good hands!

Can I choose my preferred coach?

Yes, of course!

However, it will be subjected to availability. Some of coach or timing that you prefer may not be suitable for your kid’s current level. We group our students according to age and level, therefore our admin will recommend you a few time slots that is the most ideal for your child’s learning progression.

Any trial class available?

Yes, trial classes are available. You can contact us at 8588 7867 or through the contact form at the website to arrange for a full 45 minutes lesson trial class.

If you do not find the class to your liking, the trial class is considered free of charge and you can just walk away!

If you do enjoy the class and would like to enroll for the class, we will consider the trial class as one lesson 🙂

Do i have to be in the pool when my child is learning?

No, you do not have to be in pool with your children. In fact, we recommend entrusting your child to the coaches! This is to create a conducive environment for all the learners in the pool.

However, if your child is under the age of 4, there is a chance that you may have to be in the pool together with your child. The coach will approach you should you need to be in the pool with your child.

 

COVID 19 Updates:

Under the current measures, Singapore sports council has placed a limitation on the number of pool users allowed. This means that parents will not be allowed inside the gantry. 

We do hope for your kind understanding and entrust your child to our coaches at the gantry. Our coaches have been facilitating the handovers since the start of Covid-19. Your children will be in good hands.

What is your minimum age intake for toddler?

At Swimmerse, we take in toddlers as young as 2.5 years old.

Parents with learners that are younger than 3 years old are expected to be in the pool with the learner.

What is the maximum class size?

Our maximum class size is 6 pax to 1 coach.

Are there any exams?

Yes, Swimmerse teaches our students according to the Swimsafer 2.0 syllabus. This is a nationally recognized program. Students that completed their test will receive an online certification. Aside from that, exclusively from Swimmerse, a printed certification and a badge to recognize and validate the student’s hard work!

Every year, we have 3 test dates and we send eligible students to the test.

Swimsafer 2.0 have 6 stages, namely:

  • Stage 1
  • Stage 2
  • Stage 3
  • Stage 4 (Bronze)
  • Stage 5 (Silver)
  • Stage 6 (Gold)
